Illustration Friday: Heavy

Heavy Heart (9"X7" collage and acrylic paint)
click on image to avoid eye-strain

This started out as a one-liner, but as I went through my image library it developed into a bit of a story. I know, it's a bit heavy on the text, but I couldn't help myself.

I would have been a lot more heavy handed with the former gal pal of yours Mr. Hunt. Glad to see your heart is so resilient ;)

A sad, sad story with a twist of humor in it.

Love the illustrations.

What a wonderful bit of prose!!
I absolutely loved every minute of it...
and went back to read it again, so I could enjoy it some more.

And of course... so nice to look at.

Great job!!

(and, hey, thanks for the comment...
I have boys, too and have learned to love the creepy and the crawly things in life.)

Have a great day!
